Today’s vision:

one single shoot, multiple destinations:

The light rain provided a natural diffuser, creating an even, “softbox” light that eliminated harsh shadows and let the intricate details of the S3’s graphics shine. The wet surfaces added a glossy, high-contrast sheen to the motorcycle and gear, enriching the textures and adding a layer of visual depth that a sunny day simply could not replicate.

Engineering Meets Art
The Schuberth S3 represents the next step in sport-touring evolution, balancing the aggressive performance of a racing helmet with the uncompromising comfort of a long-distance tourer. Our goal was to showcase the new 2025 graphics while highlighting the helmet’s sleek, wind-tunnel-refined profile. By shooting in the rain, we naturally emphasized the S3’s dual chin air intake and its moisture-wicking premium linings, proving that high-end aesthetics and rugged functionality can coexist.

making plans while staying flexible
I am a firm believer that the more work you invest in pre-production, the smoother the execution. By ‘pin-locking’ every asset and creating a meticulous roadmap for our production office, we create a safety net. This allows us to remain flexible when the unforeseen happens—like the rain we encountered on this shoot. Because we had a solid plan, we didn’t panic; instead, we had the ‘saved energy’ to adapt, innovate, and focus on capturing those extra, unexpected moments that often become the hero shots of the campaign.
